Xi'an Chicheng International English School is the experimental school of “100 School Project”, which was established by the Beijing Foreign Studies University and the National Basic Foreign Language Education Research and Training Center. The school was founded in 2004. Since its establishment, the school has developed rapidly and been widely recognized by students, parents and communities as a result of pure English teachings, strict management, and courteous services. The school has won various awards ever since: "Best Foreign Language Environmental School", "Best Foreign Language Training School", "Excellent Adult Education And Training Institutions", “The outstanding entity of private schools” and many other honors.

On July 7th, 2009, the American cultural and educational organization of Fulbright Program visited Xi'an Chicheng International English School. Fulbright Program is the only inter-government educational exchange program between China and United States.
The 20 staffs of the delegation were deeply attracted to education method of our school. After seeing the school’s curriculum and activities, they were very impressed by the school’s very own teaching material-“Natural Phonetic English”, international teaching methods as well as the activities organized by the school. In addition, they were amazed by the students’ excellent English skills.

We are in the direction of cultivating children and teenagers’ interests in English and improving their overall ability with a strong focus in oral English expression. We hold  the National “FLTRP CUP” Spoken English Network Contest in Shaanxi Province every year. The number of contestants accumulated more than 30,000. The national contest provides all English learners a platform to showcase their abilities. 

In 2011 “FLTRP CUP” English Network Contest Shaanxi Final, Lv Mingkai- the deputy director of Shaanxi Province Education Department awarded laptops and various trophies for the contestants who won the grand prize. All the professors and experts from renowned universities were full of praise for the contestants’ excellent performances.

The students that were elected from Shaanxi Final attended the national final and achieved excellent results- Three Champions, 7 runner-ups and 9 third winners. The total score is the best in whole nation.
